- 50 ml Sunflower oil
- 100 g Onions
- 1 clove Garlic
- 100 g Carrots
- 300 g Rice
- 600 ml Water
- 2 tsp Salt
- 3 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tsp Red pepper
- 150 g marasmius oreades Mushrooms
- 1 kg Chicken
- 800 g Potatoes
- 1 tsp Savory
- 150 g Butter
A pack of aroma rice, soft chicken and spicy potatoes. Certainly a meal full of flavors and quick to prepare. Just arrange in a clay pot and leave in the oven to get ready by itself. Without a doubt, healthy and delicious chicken with two garnishes. Soo Tasty with Soo Foodies!
- You can use other parts of the chicken instead
- You may sear the meat from all sides for few minutes. Use frying pan and medium heat and then put the meat into the clay pot
- Serve with fresh salad for richer taste and colors
Wash and chop all the vegetables. Take saucepan and put sunflower oil in, onion, garlic and carrots. Fry the veggies for a couple of minutes. Add the rice, stir and pour 300 ml water. When the water is absorbed, flavor the dish with 1 tsp of salt, black pepper and red pepper. Add the mushrooms to the mixture.
Put the rice mixture on the bottom of the clay pot (gyuvetch vessel). Lay the chicken meat on the top of rice, garnish and flavor with 1 tsp of black pepper. Arrange the potatoes over the chicken. Sprinkle with the rest of the salt, black pepper, red pepper and savory. Pour another 300 ml water and distribute butter on top.
