30 g Honey
30 g Butter
140 g Flour
A pinch of Salt
1 tsp Baking powder
110 g Sugar

Honey muffins

  • Sift the flour and the cocoa preferably
  • Divide the batter evenly into the paper liners so they get baked at one and the same time
  • In addition, test the muffins readiness. Insert a toothpick in the center of one. It should come out clean and dry if ready



In medium bowl combine the flour, the salt, the baking powder and the sugar. Stir well with spatula. In large bowl, whisk together the milk, the egg, the honey and the melted butter. Add the dry ingredients into the liquid ones, on several times if necessary. Stir well to achieve smooth, homogeneous mixture.


Arrange paper liners in each hole of muffin pan. Grease slightly with butter. Divide the batter evenly in every hole. Put in preheat oven at 180 C for about 20 minutes. Take out, set aside to cool a little and place over wooden rack. Serve hot or cold.
