- Jam test during preparation – put a single drop on a plate, if it remains stable, jam is ready
- Citric acid avoids jam crystallization (sugar concentration)
- Get creative and make nice labels in addition
Bake in oven until jam gets thick, approximately 2 hours at 220 C temperature. Make a test if the jam is ready - drop from the jam on ceramic plate and turn plate vertically. if the drop spills a little and stops, the jam is ready. It will thicken a little bit more. When the jam is ready, add citric acid and vanilla.
