1 kg Minced meat 50% pork and 50% beef
50 g Rice
1 tbs Black pepper
1 tsp Cumin
50 g Flour
1 liter Water
2 tbs Sunflower oil
100 g Onions
2 Egg yolks
200 g Yogurt
Salt

Directions

Traditional, simple and delicious meal. An army of meatballs in soft, tasty sauce. Warm comfort lunch, usually in the company of several slices of bread. Meatballs in white sauce – Soo Tasty with Soo Foodies!

  • If the meatball mixture is sticky, wet your hands with cold water before rolling
  • Powder with flour before putting into boiling water. Thus, you prevent meatballs from falling apart
  • You can make meatballs in the size you like – small, medium or big

Mix well in big bowl the minced meat /beef and pork/, rice, cumin and black pepper. Take 3-4 table spoons quantity for one meatball and round it in palms to achieve ball about 5 cm big in diameter. Powder with flour and live it aside.

Cut the onions into small cubes. Take deep saucepan, put sunflower oil and the onions in and pour hot water. Place to hot stove on high temperature and bring to boil. Put carefully all meatballs into the boiling water. Simmer at low heat till the meatballs are cooked /about 30 minutes/.

Whisk egg yolks with yogurt. With bailer, add some of the broth into the eggs mixture to temper it. Pour back to the saucepan. Cook for another 15 minutes more on the hot stove. Serve hot.
