Ingredients
- 4 tbs Sunflower oil
- 100 g Onions
- 2 cloves of Garlic
- 200 g Rice
- 0.5 liter Water
- 400 g Orach
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Red pepper
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 4 Eggs
About
Vegetarian and super nutritious orach rice. Interesting variation with eggs – they chose to rest peacefully in cozy nests. Soft texture and deeply satisfying taste. Soo Tasty with Soo Foodies!
- You may substitute white rice with brown for example
- Finally serve it with some plain Homemade Yogurt
- Take out from the oven depending on how you like eggs, softer or stiffer
Steps
1 Done | Wash and chop the onions and garlic. Wash orach and tear into small parts by hands. Slightly fry the onions and garlic in sunflower oil. Add rice and cook for 2-3 minutes more with a constant stir. Pour 400 ml water and let it simmer at medium heat until almost ready. Add orach and 100 ml more water. Stew for another 5 minutes. |
