  • Test for jam readiness – make a tiny drop on a porcelain plate and lean it. If the drop remains intact, the jam is ready
  • You may include Peach jam in many desserts, for example the Temptation jar dessert
  • In addition, pour in decorated jars or put some labels/napkins and use as a personal homemade gift

Peel the peaches and cut them into crescents. Cover with the sugar and leave for 2-3 hours in order fruits to release their natural juices.

Bring to boil and then reduce the heat to low. Leave to simmer, approximately 2 hours, until the jam thickens. Remove the foam from time to time. When the jam is ready add the vanilla (for extra flavor) and the lemon juice (as conservant which will preserve the jam from acquiring sugar texture).

Fill the jars while the jam is still hot. Close, seal and turn them upside down. Keep them like this for a couple of hours to vacuum well. No additional boiling needed. Enjoy in the winter or all the year round.
