  • You may alternatively use another kind of potatoes
  • You can achieve more intense aroma with dry thyme
  • In addition, if you use a ceramic tin, keep in mind that it requires a cold oven at the beginning

Wash the potatoes very well and slice them into pieces with similar size. Arrange in the baking tin. Pour the water over. Flavor with olive oil and salt. Cover with aluminium foil and bake in the oven at 200 C for 40 minutes.

When ready, remove the foil and spread the fresh thyme evenly above the hot potatoes. Cover them again with the foil and leave aside for 15 minutes for the thyme to release its aroma and have the meal completed. Serve warm as a single meal or as a garnish to meat.
