Raspberry rolls

Filo rolls with sweet raspberry fragrance. To bake and to love without a doubt. Deliciously inspired by our homemade raspberry jam. Raspberry rolls – Soo Tasty with Soo Foodies!

  • When you spread the rolls over with the egg-milk-oilve oil mixture, do not forget to grease also the sides of the rolls
  • You can always use jam as per your taste
  • You can use chocolate for the filling instead



Put aside one sheet of the filo pastry. It will be used in small pieces as tops to prevent the jam leaking during the baking process. Melt the butter in a bain-marie at a low temperature. Place one sheet of the filo pastry on the working table and spread the melted butter everywhere over it. Fold 1/3 of the sheet inward. Grease. Fold the other 1/3 toward the inside to cover the other side. Grease again. Put the raspberry jam and the tops by each side. Roll it tight.


Put baking paper in the baking tin. Arrange the rolls in it by leaving some space in between. Take a small bowl and whisk the egg with the olive oil and milk. Grease the raspberry rolls with it. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 С or at 160 С if you use a ventilator for about 10-15 minutes. Take out from the oven and cool over a wooden rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
